Easy One-Bowl Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy warm (or with a glass of milk!).
