Prep Time 5 minutes
Serving Size 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 4-5 lemons
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries or strawberries optional
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  • In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water. Stir well to mix.
  • Add the granulated sugar to the lemonade and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. You can adjust the sweetness according to your preference by adding more sugar if desired.
  • Tear the fresh mint leaves and add them to the pitcher of lemonade. This will infuse the lemonade with a delightful minty flavor. If you prefer a stronger mint taste, you can lightly muddle the mint leaves before adding them to the pitcher.
  • If you want to add an extra burst of fruity goodness, toss in fresh raspberries or sliced strawberries. This optional twist will not only enhance the flavor but also make the lemonade visually appealing.
  • Place the pitcher of lemonade in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • When you are ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the refreshing lemonade over the ice.
  • Garnish each glass with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint for an elegant touch.
  • Stir the lemonade before drinking to ensure that the mint and fruit flavors are evenly distributed.
  • Sip and savor the refreshing lemonade twist, allowing the tangy lemon, cool mint, and, if added, juicy berries to dance on your taste buds.
