Easy One-Bowl Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add egg and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool on a wire rack and enjoy warm (or with a glass of milk!).
